The Granada Festival´s main objectives are: To promote interdisciplinary artistic & cultural exchange establishing contacts between professionals of different European nationalities around a common artistic project. To encourage international awarenes of music & dance, giving special emphasis to European traditions and settings. To promote teaching & research via the International Manuel de Falla Courses. A clear commitment to artistic creation through the commission of music & choreographic compositions as well as stage productions, to be premiered within the framework of the Festival. To strengthen our commitment towards an education in values through specific programmes aimed at children & teenagers. To encourage music & dance as a means of overcoming physical or mental disabilities. To use art as a means of helping to overcome social discrimination & exclusion. To increase standards by enriching the programme year by year and by including new ways & strategies to address society.
